Ingredients
2 oz Madeira Cask Finished Rye Whiskey or Barrel Reserve #3 Gin
0.25 oz Rich Simple Syrup (2:1 Sugar to water)
5 dashes of Peychaud's Bitters
0.25 oz of Lifted Spirits Absinthe Verte
Directions
Swirl Absinthe in chilled glass, coating the inside of the glass. Then toss it out.
Combine all remaining ingredients into a mixing tin. Add ice and stir.
Strain contents of the mixing tin into the absinthe rinsed glass
Garnish with a lemon twist
